Introducing our original Fret Play Mountain Dulcimer! The soundboard is Sitka Spruce and the sides and back are Cherry. The fretboard is Cherry with a Wenge fingerboard. See wood options on our “shop” page.
The measurements are as follows:
Body Length- 30 1/2”
Lower Bout- 10”
Dulcimer Body Depth- 2 1/2”
Total Depth, with Fretboard- 4 1/4”

The benefits of Fret Play:
Gives you the player the option of playing standard, baritone, bass and chromatic all on one dulcimer.
Each fret board can be tuned to the players preferred keys and modes prior to playing or performing.
Offers the option of just playing the fret board to practice at work on a break, in the park or wherever your favorite practice place is. Being smaller than the dulcimer, its more convenient to travel with.
